My old ebay app is not supported . Can't install new one

Most likely it is your phone's OS The app won't support older Android versions. If you can't update your Android OS, you'll have to use a browser to access eBay on your phone. Or, buy a newer phone.

The Android ebay app needs version 5.1 to run on your device and ideally 6.0. If you cannot update the operating system on the device you will need to use the browser and visit ebay.com.

Using ebay.com through Google chrome only works for a short time, until I need to SEARCH... then I get the same error message.
