To access sold item data via API, use eBay’s Marketplace Insights API. For Seller Hub research, there’s currently no direct public API, but Terapeak data is integrated into Seller Hub for manual use.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Sold Items API: eBay’s Marketplace Insights API lets you retrieve sales history and performance data for completed listings. You’ll need to apply for access via eBay’s developer portal and use OAuth tokens for authentication.
- Seller Hub Research: The research tab (powered by Terapeak) offers product performance insights, but eBay hasn’t released a public API for this data. Business sellers with a Basic Store or higher can access it manually via Seller Hub.
