Whos Blogging?

This ebay blog thing seems to be getting popular! Though I'm not sure what to do with it or what I'm supposed to write about...lol...I started one anyway thinking it may be useful one day for marketing. So who else is blogging on ebay and what do you talk about or use it for? PG

Would love to - I think it's a great way of advertising. But eBay AU doesn't offer it yet and won't tell us when they will, and eBay US won't let me use that one. eBay really sucks sometimes.

Well, I did the kaboodle thing - which I can barely keep up with, and between my eBay groups, yahoo groups, off eBay online groups, and all things / websites ZNE - AND my blogspot blog - I just haven't had the wherewithall to start an eBay blog too. If I did, it would say: "Zzzzzzzzzz...I am SO exhausted!" - which is only so interesting, you know? As it is, my off eBay blog is sssssSilent. I expect it to be a bit more active in the coming weeks, just haven't had the time during the past couple months. chelisesurfing, I'd have to agree with you...I have one blog, and I just don't think I can go through the effort of sticking it someplace else as well. maybe I'll just make an initial entry directing everyone to my blogspot blog. Melissa (MJCR)

PG - your blog looks great! Eliza, I hope you get to have one soon, I think they're good because folks who may not even be searching for art can stumble on them. I started one a few months ago, Art by LJH which includes a little more info than what I put on my lisings as well as close ups that I don't want to add to my listings. I can't say that it has helped me get bids just yet, but judging from the comments, posting on your blog brings hits at least. Haven't used it a whole lot because my auctions are few and far between... but it's fun to post to it and I also enjoy reading blogs when I have time.

PG, LOL It's not lame! I love the WIP shots you have for Star Gazer. I'm fascinated with your abilities and precision. I think posting to your eBay blog at night lures more traffic, because when you post, a link to your post is logged on the http://blogs.ebay.com/ page which shows recently updated blogs. If your title for your post is catchy, you're sure to get some visitors. Would be cool if we could have a little blog icon next to the 'me' icons that appear next to our names. So many artists have eBay blogs now but I can't find them unless I do searches - would be better if people could find them easier.

I've got blogs all over the place. You can never tell when someone might see something that appeals to them and also it is a good avenue to advertise.
