It should take you to their My World page. On the lower left of the screen, down below their avatar, click the Contact Member option and send them an email with your mailing information. If this ebay option is not working you can also go to the Swap Rules and Sign Up List (the link is at the bottom of this page) and click on your partners avatar. On the top right, a button will show up that says Menu. Click on it to the Send Message option. Be sure to check next to your own avatar for a little envelope indicating that you have a message waiting, just click on it to get to your messages. Hi! got your message, thanks. I have read the documents on posting a pic in a thread, but it was "refer to a photo" from the 'reply to the topic' window that is still a mystery to me. I could upload the pics to photobucket, but I thought that since there was a swap photo album it would be convenient and preferable to refer to the photos in the album.

How to reference a photo in an album? The document file states "If you want to post images in any other thread, you can put them into your photo album...and you can "reference" them at the bottom of your post..." I select the album from which to 'refer to a photo', but don't get further options. There is a piece of this puzzle that escapes me. I've uploaded to both Apr swap photo albums so you can go ahead and delete the superfluous one. -- Edited by owly09 at 04/26/2010 8:43 PM PDT

Melissa, I'm sorry I didn't get what you were wanting to know. I've hardly used that reference option. I'm trying it out here. If it works this is what you do~ At the bottom of the Message box where we normally type in what we want to say is an option that says: Refer to a photo (optional) Click on the check box to see the album choices and then under that it will give you an option to select which photo in the album. I'm going to try to select one of your photos from the April album. If it works it should show up at the bottom of this post, but it doesn't show up very big. I don't know if it takes you to the album if it's clicked on. We'll just have to see once I post this. Hope this is what you meant. :-) -- ~Patricia

I am able to select 'April 2010 swaps' in the drop-down menu, but then no options (besides the preview or post buttons). Anyway, thanks.

When I selected the 'April 2010 swaps' in the drop-down menu the screen opened up a new Message box that included the Select option under the first drop-down menu. You could try the Preview button to see if it will come up after you select the album and see if that brings up the photos. It has always seemed to me that the photo albums have some strange quirks and problems - like no way to sort them when you want to find a specific one out of the 909 albums! If anyone knows how, please let me know! -- ~Patricia
