EBay standard envelope for EVERYBODY!

I have items that aren’t sports cards, but are the same (lightweight/size/under $20 value). Can I use the EBay standard envelope for these or does it have to be sports cards. Paying $3.50 a pop for tracking is crazy!! Any info would be great!
