My pages are set up to view 50 items per page and my page numbers go all the way to 25. I get 1226 items. Although when I toggle between ending soonest and newly listed the number changes from 1226 to 1231.

By taking down those 2 new shoes listings doesn't indicate in any way, shape or form that you want to stop selling. And those 2 listings have nothing to do with the transaction you are dealing with now.
