Re: Stamps.com Offers New Free Shipping Program

Hi all I just wanted to give you an update on Stamps dot com. Just in case I found this on the net for eBay sellers http://blog.stamps.com/2009/10/23/free-ebay-shipping-program/ October 23rd, 2009 If you are an eBay seller, you have to wear many different hats in order to operate a successful business. Daily operational tasks — preparing and posting listings, collecting payments, shipping sold orders and re-listing unsold items – often steal time away from focusing on the best methods to run your business. Blog_Free-Ebay Free – No Subscription Cost for Goods Sold Through eBay Fortunately, Stamps.com has developed a new method for eBay sellers to save time and money on shipping methods and preparation. The company has launched a new free program for eBay sellers that allows them to print shipping labels easily by importing all of their eBay order data into the Stamps.com software. Once the order data is loaded in the software, they can either batch print all of the day’s shipping labels or print each shipping label individually. eBay sellers will have access to the great shipping features that Stamps.com offers, including hidden postage, discounts for Priority Mail and Express Mail, and Customs forms integration. Plus, sellers will be able to use features that aren’t available elsewhere. Unique Stamps.com Shipping Features for eBay Sellers: * Print First Class Mail International: Other online shipping programs require eBay sellers to upgrade to Priority Mail International. Stamps.com allows you to print First Class Mail International labels. An example: an eBay seller sending a 3lb package to Japan could ship the package for $24.52 via First Class Mail International – a 27% savings over the cost of $33.50 for Priority Mail International. * Send All Sizes of Priority Mail Flat Rate: Other online shipping programs only offer the medium-sized Priority Mail Flat Rate box. Having access to the other options could be a huge savings if you have smaller or larger products to ship. * Discounted Package Insurance: Stamps.com customers get 10 percent off package insurance and do not need to drop off their package at the Post Office. Other online shipping programs do not offer insurance discounts. * Insure packages up to $2,500: With Stamps.com, you can buy package insurance up to $2,500 in value. Other shipping programs have a low $500 limit. Many eBay sellers are forced to split their packages into multiple shipments due to the lower $500 value limit or accept the risk for content values over $500. * Batch Printing: Stamps.com allows eBay sellers to batch print up to 1,000 labels at a time. Other online shipping programs limit you to batch print only 50 shipping labels. Customers using the Free eBay program can upgrade to a paid subscription plan to utilize Stamps.com’s other mailing and shipping features, such as printing postage on envelopes, importing data from Amazon, Yahoo! Stores, Google Checkout or their own shopping cart in formats such as CSV, Excel or XML. Sign up for the free eBay program now at: http://www.stamps.com/ebayfree2 They do have a batch printing for labels that is compatible to PayPal's multiple ordering shipping tool see the bold text. Also if you are looking for a scale if you sign up and place this promo code C-8S7X-Y8V in the promo code box when you sign up you will then get and I really like this and you will get a $100 offer which includes a digital scale and $45 in postage. I just get twenty dollars in postage, boo-hoo, lol wish I had a promo code when I signed up. LOL! Feel free to pass this along to anyone that needs this service or heck a shipping scale you just never know. This offer for the free service is only good until Dec 31,2009. See next post. :) --

Re: Stamps.com Offers New Free Shipping Program

Now for the interesting news when I signed up for the free service for eBay sellers I noticed over the weekend that they were trying to charge me $15.99 for the service. I thought okay I am only using this for eBay products nothing else and it is suppose to be free. So I called customer service to inquire. Bottom line this charged has been reversed and customer service was excellent. I asked if there should be any problems such as this for other eBay sellers moving forward and was told by the customer service rep. to have the eBay selllers call and speak to them directly at this number... 1-888-434-0055, Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Pacific Time. (convert for your time zone) It seems that the link that I signed up with didn't register that I was an eBay seller for some reason don't ask me who knows let's say a computer glitch. I then received and was told on the phone that I would receive and email stating that the charge has been reversed and my account has been noted that I am an eBay seller. I checked my email and there was the communication from Stamps stating that the charge has been removed. Very professionally and expedient it was a pleasure to talk with someone that was able to admit the problem and fix it asap while I was on the phone. We don't see that often in this day and age. They have won me over just on this point. Communication is key! So I wanted to let everyone here know that has signed up with them watch your accounts Paypal, charge accounts to make sure that if you see a charge then call them at the number above to get it taken care of. They will help you expediently and professionally! Hope this helps and all that are using the service I hope you are enjoying it as I am. Have a great day! :) --

Re: Stamps.com Offers New Free Shipping Program

Yep you got it Deb. After you sign up then then call you to make sure all is well with your download it's automated but the effort is what I liked. Then they send you in the mail a package which they tell you in the call. I think 2-3 sheets of blank stamps so that you can print the postage on. They give you I think ten dollars back. They also include a Cd-Rom of the software for a backup in case your PC gets wonky down the road and you can reinstall the software again. I would call them if you have any questions they are very helpful and prepared for eBay sellers to call during this promotion time. They also have bulk printing of shipping labels like PP's MOS service. Their international shipping is great also Deb can tell you about that she has been going international crazy with it, lol! Tell em Deb. So call and talk to them its also a great way to check em out to see just how their customer service is for yourself. --
