Can I purchase a shipping label for an item that was not listed or sold on eBay? I want to ship a book to a friend. Can I buy postage and print label on ebay for this? Thank you.

 you can go to paypal, usps, pirate ship to print a label .. and i am sure there are others

You can NOT do it on ebay but you can from paypal.

eBay shipping labels can only be purchased for items sold on eBay.

BUT you can purchase a shipping label from PayPal at the same discounted rate, which is what I use to ship personal items.  Go here to buy one:
