Label Printing Issue

Shipping Labels are WEIRD now. Are they weird for everyone or am I having the only issue? Am I the only One this is happening to? The labels show up and print as a long STRIP, not like the Box Shaped Border that has been the Label default forever. I didn't change anything and I don't see any change made to anything in the Print Label section when I go to print, just the fact that it shows up very differently than ever before. I asked my mailman and he stated he had no clue if there were any changes. Anyone else have this issue or similar issue? Thanks for your input.

Re: Label Printing Issue

There have been no changes. It is something in your browser/printer setup.

Go to your sold or orders page, and choose "Print another label" for that item for which the label came out wrong.

Check the printer settings on that label page ("Printer and label receipt preference" link upper right on classic label flow, don't know what it is in the new label flow) and see if they are correctly set for your printer (laser, inkjet, thermal printer).

Probably what you would be looking for is to see if the gremlins changed your 8½x11 Laser format to one of the thermal printer settings.

If that seems right, then you need to consider what you are using to view and print the labels. You need to be using something like Adobe, or Nitro, or some other PDF handler to print the labels, not the native browser PDF preview. If you browser updated itself it could have changed that setting.

It could be the above browser issues in relation to the recent Windows update that others are reporting has messed up some printing.

Are you using Edge browser? The Windows update may have bollixed that browser (and I have no idea what the fix would be other than to try another browser like Firefox or Chrome (but you would might have to fix up the PDF handling in those browsers to get it to work with eBay labels).

My labels are printing the same as always. Maybe a reboot of your computer and printer will straighten it out. Good luck.

Today I will not judge.
