Prohibited items

It is rather amazing how Ebay picks and choses who can list prohibited items. Ebay made the decision to ban items from ww2 germany, but as you can see there is a whole bunch of that stuff up in an "live auction"  I have argued with Ebay about this point since the made the decision. so who is right?

Re: Prohibited items

Can you please provide a specific example via the item number?

Re: Prohibited items

An example would be good since the statement that WWII items have been banned is nonsense.

@2*baron

Well it is ebay's sand box, they make the rules, silly as they are...

I have a history book, but it has Dolf and the Nazi flag on the cover.

I know not to list it as ebay will slap me down...

Heck you can buy a 2017 reproduction of a FW-190 in full war paint, made in Germany.

But the picture shows the twisted cross on the tail... can't do that.

Oh and they are making ME-262's in Germany, but dang that is out of my price range

I am now working on an L-39  it still has the rocket pads on the wings...

And the boss says we are gonna put a cannon in the nose, say what...

eBay owns the site, so eBay is right.

You argued with Ebay?

They make the rules; their site.

Re: Prohibited items

I think live auctions have different rules because they are ran by the two huge auction houses

What difference does it make 'who is right'?

It is ebay's site, ebay has control and the final decision - according to the UA and 'at their sole discretion'.

You and all the sellers opinions has yet to make any difference and if ebay finds it in their favor and to their benefit, they will do what they want.

What do think ebay is?  A democracy?

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

Respect, like money, is only of 'worth' when it is earned - with all due respect, it can not be ordained, legislated or coerced. Anonymous
