Ebay is the worst

My advise to you would be to slow down and relax as you are starting off on the wrong foot. 2 months into this and selling high dollar items looks real suspect to eBay. It brings up Red Flags all over the place. And the feedback you left for others is quite unprofessional. The next time you post a question here I can already Quess what it will be - Why is eBay asking me for receipts for the things I'm selling.
It really can seem unfair and frustrating when you first start selling here or anywhere for that matter. Ebay is big on making sure that Buyers get what they pay for and not cheated. Everyone here was new at one time and went thru the new seller hurdles. They are what they are and we all have to play by eBays rules. You need to read up on what is expected of a seller on eBay. Its a very high bar and if we don't meet up to their expectations then we won't selling here. Its not a get rich quick type of job. It takes a lot of work and time before anyone starts to see money rolling in.
Yes your customer told you everything is fine but what happens if next week they change their mind and want to return what they bought. You can say no returns in your listings but that doesn't mean it won't happen. eBay is just covering themselves to make sure they don't get stuck if you disappear and a customer is looking for their money back. I could go on and on, but you have to take ownership on your own to learn all this. Best way to do that is to read all that you can find. Ebay is far from the worst. It's one of the Best things that could happen to you if you know what your doing. The only way to do that is to slow down and relax and learn. Remember eBay is You and You are eBay. So when you slam them, you are slamming yourself. Take the time to Look in the mirror. Sometimes when we all find the going is tough. The person who will have the answer is looking right back at us in that mirror.

Just curious: If they don't need a bank account attached to their eBay account to sell, where does the money go when they do get paid?
(This may be a very simple answer, but have not sold for a long time and just wondering.

Sellers who sell on ebay without having any clue how it works are the worst.

The money is eventually turned over to the state as Unclaimed Funds. It would be up to the seller to contact the Treasurer of his state with ID to claim those funds.
That's the official answer anyway, to the best of my knowledge. I have always wondered how eBay can identify whose unclaimed funds they are, if they don't have enough identifying info (e.g. Social Security Number) to pay the seller in the first place, so that the state will know how to identify the rightful owner when he eventually shows up.
