Increasing selling limits

Hello Ebay Sellers, we're trying to increase our seller limits, however, we are not able to do so. In addition to that, sending a message to ebay is not possible. Does anybody have any idea on how to increase seller limits even though when requesting an increase, it would show us as ineligible?

Increasing selling limits

If you've used the Request a Limit Increase (https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-limits?id=4107) and been denied, what steps can you do to increase your selling limits?

Step 1:  "Wait."

Step 2: See Step 1.

Have patience.   Keep up good customer service, speedy shipping, all that, and limits will grow.

Your shop is very nice.   I like the assortment of items you have.  However, you do know that many countries restrict the sales of food and they cannot be exported.  That may be one problem.  Another is your prices are very HIGH.  I'm seeing the same items that you are selling for almost 1/2 of what you are asking.  I would consider lowering them somewhat.  Since you are in Lebanon, many will not want to wait weeks/months to receive their item.  We also have this kind of food here in the US & can even purchase it on Amazon.   You can get it as quick as the next day.  You also may want to insert the amount you are selling in ounces and pounds along with the metric measurements.  That might be another consideration.

Hope this is helpful.  Good luck to you and again, very nice shop.

Happy Selling

Limits should increase after you've proven to be a successful seller but....  Having a store banner directing buyers off eBay to your own website is not the way to do it.

Why are you not able to do so?  What have you tried?  What did Ebay say?

Last summer Ebay changed some of the performance requirements for International sellers.  You should review the following link and see if this has anything to do with why they are unwilling to raise your limits.

https://export.ebay.com/en/regulations/ebay-policies/shipping-performance-policy-item-not-received-r...

When a seller desires to increase their selling limits, they are allowed to request an increase once every 30 days. Mark your calendar and every 30 days request an increase until you have your selling limit well above anything you think you will ever need. Below is a link to where you can go to ask for a selling limit increase. It is the third option in the link below.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://www.facebook.com/eBay/

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
