Pardon the interruption message

I am getting this message:

Pardon Our Interruption...

As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:

  • You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
  • You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
  • A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running.

Pardon the interruption message

I got that same message a couple of months ago. I just started hesitating and making sure the sign page was fully loaded before signing in and that seemed to fix it.

I had nothing keeping Javascript from running as far as I could discern.

Pardon the interruption message

What browser are you using? Type and version number?

Try another browser to rule out a browser issue. Make sure you have the latest version of your browser and that JavaScript is enabled and not blocked:

https://www.whatismybrowser.com/

If you are on a mobile phone and using the eBay app, your phone's default browser may be not recognized by eBay; try changing your default browser to another more common browser.

In some cases, if you are using a bad link and getting stuck in a redirection loop, you can get that error message.

If the problem happens when trying to sign in, see if you can use a different link to sign in.

Are you using a VPN?

The issue may be related to your location or your network.

Are you able to sign in and search on other eBay sites such as ebay.com.au or ebay.co.uk?
