I started a sale a few days ago but it would not go through because of the new 14 day waiting period.
HOWEVER
When viewing my items there is a sale sign to view all items that are 40% off.
When you click this link it shows the items that I chose but they are not on sale!
This is quite the mess.
If items have to wait 14 days, then when a seller puts them up for sale by mistake, the sale should not show up at all!
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Also how do we keep track of the items that are eligible to be put on sale?
Thank you for any help, Amy

I pay good money for a store and now can not have a sale the way I want anymore. Sales are down with every change they make over the last couple months. I do not pay them to lose sales.

I think there's at least a couple good points here.
And as usual - just thinking aloud .......
1- Isn't there a way for the system to flag and give an exact reason for items not be included or at least give an error code as to why they can't or won't add to a sale, or an after loading report with item by item reason stated?
And a different one for why an item can't be added to a total order promotion
(Once again I think there's confusion because the 2 tools are combined as one and now that certain features have been rolled back or put on hold until further notice - I know I can't even keep it straight anymore on what the rules are).
2- Really think we need to get the 2 features seperated too for the sake of Tech Evaluations
Is there an issue with Markdown sale or an Issue with Promotion Sale. Or Both?
Sadly, I feel that until we see the true effects of the change to what was planned to happen we won't know where the problem really lies.

TO alan@ebayIs that statement True ?
IF it helps I have some percent off sales ending today/tonight 7/5.
And have some Order discounts that are running through August if you want to to have a tech sandbox my account, to see what happens "real-time".
