Previously it was possible to easily rename a list, but when eBay updated the list pages that feature was left out.
The only way to rename a list that I know of is to create an entirely new list with the new name, and then move the old items to the new list. Then you can delete the old list, and create the next new list.
If you have reached the maximum number of lists (fifty?) your best course of action may be to consolidate your two smallest lists into one list. If your smallest list has few items, you can bookmark them individually. Delete one list, and then you can create a new list with a new name, and move your items.
