Delayed Shipping Inquiry

I recently sold an item via best offer and when the price was agreed on and item paid I then got a message from the buyer that they are out of the country and want me to ship on April 20th a month and a week away.  My question is I always ship quickly and update tracking info asap.  Is there going to be any negitive issues with my sellers account if an item I sold isn't going to register that item has shipped? I am sure something is alerted when shipping isn't updated and such.  Any ideas or info anyone may have?   Thanks.
