Real or Fake? Michael Jordan Auto Autograph Signed Signature Card

Is this a real or fake signature? Any help is much appreciated.

Who could possibly tell from a black on black scan?

It really depends on when it was supposedly signed.  The signature really doesn't match anything within the past 10 years.  The "M" and the "J" are completely wrong.....not to mention the fact that I've never seen a Jordan signature with his Jersey number.

Not to say that it is fake, but, if it's real, it might have been very very early in his career.  I just don't think it would pass the PSA test.

It's on a 1990 Hoops Collect-A-Book - can't be too early in his career  🙂

He absolutely DOES NOT sign his jersey #....I had 3 PSA index cards...none of them had the jersey # and that was in 1990. My buddy is a Jordan nutball..he has 20-30 autos...he tells me none of them have the #. The J should look like a B....

But who knows...?

Sorry more clarity...my index cards were from the early 90's...they were authenticated later but still had no #23.

No question it is a fake. The slope of the M is completely wrong. The slope and the formation of the M should almost resemble the number 2 and 3. It's difficult to explain but if you look at know Jordan autos, you will see what I am talking about.

I don't know what they were trying to do with the J. Only thing I can think of is there was a short period of time around 1994 and 1995 where he connected his signature from his first name to his last and they were somehow trying to copy that but even that is not even close, and like others said, he never signs with his jersey #.

The problem is that there are so many fakes out there as far as signatures go if we feathered them all up we could n stack them to the moon or just about.

My personal opinion it looks too suspect. I hope the OP did not get swindled .

The card appears to be an unlicensed card with zero value. I'm not an autograph expert so I will leave that to others to comment on.

That's not an authentic Jordan autograph.
