Ebay's 'bots with their Auto No Reply gobbledy (can't use the word that
goes here in context but you know what it is, it will be bleeped
otherwise) messages are at it again. I wish they would spend as much
time policing fraudulent buyers (or ANY time...
Ebay has done it again. Some knucklehead with no knowledge of jewelry
has changed the eBay definitions of Fine vs. Fashion. This about the 4th
change in as many years. It is ridiculous, espescially when it requires
revision of listings over and over....
I try to ship Worldwide, unless I encounter a problem shipping to a
certain country or they are a pariah for some reason, like Russia and
Belarus. The USA and eBay also apparently prohibit shipping to some
countries like Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela ...
So the eBay robots and back room dictators decide whether an item you
are selling violates their Ivory policy. It does not matter if the item
is actually bone or Ivory Soap or Ivory colored, once you are in their
sights, nothing you can do to correct...
You do a lot of volume so the jerks are bound to appear. NO GOOD DEED
GOES UNPUNISHED. Almost without exception the ones asking lots of
questions or for favors are bad news. Unless it is an item specific,
just start replying "No, sorry." I sell jewel...
I use Make an Offer on almost all of my items BUT I set the automatic
decline at my (WOW, I had no idea you could not use the two first
LETTERS for words that rhyme with Full and Wit, sorry Mr. Bot)
threshold. I price my items fairly and competitivel...
Our supermarket, Publix, sells books of postage stamps, there is no tax.
BTW, in Florida, there also is no tax on the sale of USA coins. Proof
sets, USA silver coins etc. no tax.
