ANOTHER Knee Jerk change to Fashion vs Fine Jewelry Categories...

Ebay has done it again. Some knucklehead with no knowledge of jewelry has changed the eBay definitions of Fine vs. Fashion. This about the 4th change in as many years. It is ridiculous, espescially when it requires revision of listings over and over. Used to be Fine was a precious metal OR a gemstone. Now it has to have BOTH (not just solid gold or silver, it must have a gemstone!) and the gemstone has to be "natural gemstone or lab created with the same mineral composition", whatever they THINK that means. But wait there's more. If your item contains "plated or filled metal" it suddenly becomes fashion. One of my "offensive violations" is vermeil. The knuckleheads have no idea what vermeil is, gold plated sterling silver. Because it is "plated" it is fashion, even though it is "100% made of precious base metals". To add insult to injury the violation  notice says "you may not have known...." Of course we don't know, eBay changes definitions willy nilly with no rhyme or reason. (That may be redundant.) The full text of the notice follows. Once again, eBay does everything in their power to make sellers' lives miserable.

You listed fashion jewelry items in a fine jewelry category. Items must be made 100% of precious base metals as well must contain natural gemstone or lab-created with the same mineral composition to be listed in Fine Jewelry categories. Please end/revise your listing to move it to the most appropriate fashion jewelry category.
Your item contains plated or filled metal. To list this item, you must also indicate your metal is plated or filled in the title and provide Base Metal in the item specifics. Please revise and relist your listing(s).

This is what happens when you have the people deciding on categories and IS who have no idea what they're talking about.
