Forum notification counter bug

Forum notification counter (the bell in the top right corner) is acting up. It keeps popping up with 10 notifications randomly for notifications I've already acknowledged.

I've noticed this going on for the last several days and just now got around to starting a thread about it. Thanks for saving me the trouble!

This is still happening sporadically for me. Any progress on a diagnosis?

Ignore it is what I do, bounces in the amount for me... Just as the cut and past stuff still a going on with the HTML errors etc. I learned not to expect fixes just find work arounds...

My bell counter jumps around between 5 and 10 even though all notices have been read.  Working on desktop with Chrome browser.  Counter never goes back to zero (no red bell).  Started 1 day ago for me.

Still happening to me, as of today.  It's not something that bothers me, but it is an odd little glitch, for sure.

Yep, going on for some time............right now I go from 10 to 89.........guess I should look at the notifications, lol.

@pburn The engineers have been able to replicate it and they are working on a fix but I dont have anymore specifics. This is one of our top priority cases, we are pushing hard to get this fixed!
