What I mean is, what is the item you decided not to sell at the time, or decided not to buy at the thrift store, that you could have turned into some SERIOUS DOUGH?

Well, about 8 years ago,
the King of Nigeria needed my help in moving millions out of his country
and I passed up an opportunity to make a few hundred thousand dollars
by not giving him my full name, social security number, mother's maiden name
bank account numbers, etc.

For anyone who knows about automobiles,
DH and I passed up on a 1956 Chevy Nomad (that's a rare car)
for $2,300.00
(perfect running condition, no restoration needed)
Sure, it was over a decade ago.. but still
even then, it was worth 10 times that.
Many times that now.

A few things:
1.) I'm making a good bit off of a certain size from a certain store. I wish i knew they would sell so well, I would've bought them all on that super low clearance.
2.) I see little bags of old toys at thrift stores and yard sales. My mother sold those Fisher Price little peg dolls that you put in a round hole in a house form the 60's for an average of $5 each, and bought them at $0.07 each whenever you break it down. I think I need to look into more junky things like that.
3.) Random lots of designer purses.

My response here will be general.
I should have started selling on eBay way earlier, been far more serious about it, and gotten out sooner.

I sold a Michael Jordan PSA graded Fleer rookie card too soon, and of course it appreciated in value. It is best not to underestimate the GOAT.

Well, what first comes to mind is all of the many good finds that made money. 🙂
However, there was one big fail that I will NOT speak of again. Please excuse me while I slap the palm of my hand to my forehead in memory of it.

I have no idea. If I see something I can make serious dough on I will buy it and sell, not let it slip by.

There's been a few, and it's painful to even think about them. So I'm leaving your thread with self-disgust. 😛
