What was your biggest MISS on making money by selling?

What I mean is, what is the item you decided not to sell at the time, or decided not to buy at the thrift store, that you could have turned into some SERIOUS DOUGH?

Re: What was your biggest MISS on making money by selling?

I've sold two and traded one set of Amazing Spider Man issues 261, 262, and 263, the first Carnage issues.  Made about 200 bucks.

Now, since they've announced that character for the Venom movie, they're selling out all over Ebay for insane amounts of cash.  Likely coulda doubled, maybe even tripled, that 200-dollar profit if I'd have held off a couple of weeks.

Ugh.

I had a book full of Michael Jackson photographs.  I tried selling it on eBay & no sale.  After a year or 2, I put it back on here.  It sold to someone in Asia for $5.00.  1 week later, MJ passed away & the book was selling for as high as $300!  Meanwhile, the buyer said the book was never received so, I had give a refund and ended up out of the S/H fee.  It cost me money!  D'OH!  Ahh.....memories.  😛
