If last year's sales (2021) were $20,000 with 200 transactions, you'll receive a Form 1099-K shortly in order to file your 2021 income tax forms.
If this year's sales (2022) are at or above $600, you'll receive a Form 1099-K in early 2023 in order to file your 2022 income tax forms.

At the end of 2022 you will receive a 1099 form.

As of today (December 23rd, 2022), this has been put on hold and will not start until Jan 2024.

But as of Jan 1, 2023, in 9 short days- the $600 starts up again (unless the change it permanently).

I’m hoping it gets pushed off indefinitely. A good portion of my sales this past year was from my own personal stuff, which I no longer have receipts for. I think the IRS can keep their hands off essentially what are equal to garage sales…

Are you saying that if you don't get a 1099K you won't be claiming your sales? Nothing has or will change regarding the claiming of your sales!
