If you found this truck on Marketplace or anywhere other than an actual eBay listing it's a total scam. Ebay has absolutely nothing to do with sales on any other site, nor will they ever ask you to pay with gift cards. There is no truck, whatever sob story you were given is a total fabrication, and if you send them any money you'll never see it again. Report the listing to the site you found it on and run.

As others have said, its a big fat scam that you found on another site, that is not an Ebay number.

First off, I hope you have not paid for it as there is no truck. eBay never assists in sales or payments of items on other sites. It has to be listed on eBay to be an eBay sale. There is NO other way. eBay will never tell you to pay with gift cards.

That is a thief and liar out to steal your money.

That "Ebay {sic} Money Back Guarantee order ID 742564788102" is NOT a legitimate eBay number, and any legitimate communication from eBay would NOT be spelled "Ebay."

Did you find this "vehicle" on Facebook Marketplace or Craig's List, or some other site?

If so, you've been robbed -- eBay has NOTHING to do with those sites.

If you have sent the numbers from gift cards to those thieves, your money is unfortunately GONE -- it can not be replaced, or refunded to you.

Contact the site where you found this "vehicle" listing, and report the fraud to them.
