My family has 4 accounts and will not give out our banking info out so I
hate to say it will be goodbye to ebay. Our only hope is that there will
be so many sellers like us that do not want ebay to have more of our
personal information than they actu...
I do not have a bank account or checking account and do not want one or
will get one. I use PayPal for all my personal banking. What are my
options here for ebay or am I done after 20 plus years as a seller?
My son has been selling trading cards on ebay for over as year now and
has started getting into higher priced cards - $300-$700 range. He has a
buyer now through the Global Shipping program for about $800 for 3
cards. What can he do to protect himsel...
So now with the ebay's brainstorm of GTC I have developed a ton of
watchers that never buy. Before GTC I had buyers and very few watchers.
I don't know about everyone else but I'll take buyers over watches any

Sales off, period and not a little but A LOT! ebay can make up any
stupid reason why "they" determined it best for me to have GTC listings
rather than my 5 day Buy It Now listings, but they are wrong. I have

ebay is not secure enough for my banking info - I may just opened a new
checking account that is only used for ebay that I will never leave a
big balance in - hopefully problem solved - we will see.
I wish all much luck in that ebay is more secure than sensitive military
facilities that have been hacked by many. My banking info ebay will
never have.

best thing is to do as much research as ebay allows on the buyer with

Bottom line - GTC is so lame - Sellers with one off, hard to find,
vintage items will loose sales. The sellers with huge amounts of the
same item it will not effect. What makes ebay work - it's the uniqueness
of the items. If you want dollar store it...
So a buyer needs to add the item to a wish/watch list to find out when
it ends? That's not very proactive if a buyer is surfing around having
to add things to some list to find out when it ends. The old Buy It Now
listings had it right there for ever...
