Need help with this large cut glass dish

I know it's cut glass but is it American or European? For it's size my guess a cookie jar, but not sure. It is very heavy at 7 1/2 lbs. Stands 9 1/2" to top of finial. Bowl is 6 3/8" tall and 6 1/4" opening. Thanks for any information you can give me...

Can someone help with maker and pattern in this heavy pedestal pitcher. 10" tall, the bowl part is 7". It has a purplish hue to it, also mold marks. The pedestal bottom is hollow. No markings. TIA.
