I just wanted to express my heart felt thanks to all of the community who have served or are currently serving or have relatives serving.
It often seems due to the political atmosphere these days that those who have served or are serving have taken a back seat. At a rest stop on our way home - I saw an older gentleman with a cap on stating his regiment which happened to serve during the Korean War. The amount of fellow travelers that stopped that gentleman and thnked him for his service brought tears to his eyes and to mine.
We may often have a difference of opinion here - but it's due to those brave men and women, who have served, that we have the right to express them and they deserve our utmost thanks!
