Anyone heard of Algex brand watches?

I have a men's Algex Automatic diver's watch that appears to be fairly vintage (I am guessing 1960's-1980's) It seems very well made and heavy like a high-end watch, but I can find no information on the brand.

Right at the bottom is say Swiss made. Style is suggestive of the late 60s to early 70s.

Yes mate, mine is a swiss watch as well and looks like one of these well made and heavy Swiss watches, which they made during the 60s or 70s. It runs like a charm and keeps good time. The bezel was nickel plated but now the brass comes through 🙂
