Identifying Dominoes

I picked up these dominoes but I don't know anything about them. They come in a case with a Scottish rocklander man on the lid. There are 28 dominoes  that are smooth brown plastic with a metal dot in center. The box is velvet lined. Any help would be appreciated. (year, what they are called~double 6?, etc.).

Thank youIMG_2415.JPGIMG_2416.JPGIMG_2417.JPG

Re: Identifying Dominoes

The dominoes are "spinner dominoes" with the nail in the middle.

The box is very cool.  It's a Scottish Highlander wearing a tartan great kilt. He's a drum major holding a mace. The box will appeal to pipers, drummers, and whiskey drinkers for sure! 👍

Re: Identifying Dominoes

This is a complete double-six set with spinners. Spinners are the brass / metal dots in the center. Spinners make it easier to shuffle the dominoes on a flat surface.

I don't know anything about the origin of this particular set. Since the acronym 'A.A.G.' appears on the blank ends, you might try a Google search along lines of "A.A.G. dominoes."
