Can you help me with this toy pleae.

Greetings, do you know the maker of this tin litho windup car? There are no  name or numbers on it that I can see. The front wheels are the windup part with the back wheeMVC-024S.JPGMVC-025S.JPGMVC-026S.JPGls making it go in a circle motion. It is all metal and not a newer item.

Thanks for any help you might give me.

@thingsinherited,

Hopefully you see this.  The rear wheels do not make the skeeterbug go in a  circular motion.  It is what is known as a bump and go motion.  The car will run straight until it bumps into something, then it will stop for a second, turn and go off in another direction.   Hopefully you can find a key to wind it up to see if it works.

THANKS!! I had a very limited space to try this out and it kind of went in a circle. I do have what looks to be the original key and it works pretty well.
