Anyone had this experience:
I ask ask a seller to confirm it had properly identified a very expensive stamp for sale in an auction listed at $2.99 starting bid.
The seller says “I think so”
I ask if I can return it after their 14 day policy if I get it authenticated and it turns out to be a worthless variation as that takes 6-8 weeks to obtain.
The seller says no and then blocks be from bidding and cancels all of my bids on other stamps. (They end up no selling the stamp I inquired about — get zero bids).
They then sell the other stamps I did on for far less than my bids (that they cancelled).
I have 100% positive rating as a buyer and have purchased 100s of times.
The seller is Batschance.
Whats going on here? I’ve never seen a dealer do this. Is this a scam? They have generally high ratings and are very experienced long time seller.
I am baffled.
