Fees on Mercari are slightly lower than Ebay but last time I tried selling on that platform sales were very, very slow.

Your items will get visibility the day you post them but because the search rank is mostly determined on how old the item is you get buried pretty quickly.  Plus the customer service for sellers is horrific in my opinion.

This will make you really upset - Selling  fees  have been collected on shipping since November 2011 and the FVF on the sales tax almost 3 years ago.

OK, good luck over there. BTW if you are only paying 12.4% you are very lucky and only selling very lightweight items. Wait until you list something that weighs 6 pounds or more. Your fees will jump to almost 30%.

I've been buying wanted/needed stuff from the other mentioned selling site from the beginning of thier existence in the U.S.. I'm finding better prices on used stuff, than eBay's prices. And ship-out time seems to be quicker in a consistent manner throughout M's sellers, moreso than eBay's sellers. But I still shop eBay, too, and the big A, also. The big A probably gets most of our business, due lightning fast shipping.

Ah, to put them in order, in a sense of usage, as in, most frequently used, at the top spot, and least used, at the bottom:

(1) The big A

(2) mainstream retailers 

(3) M

(4) eBay

(5) CL

(6) PM

(7) WS

I look for the best prices and shipping time, and I try to avoid drop-shippers, eBay seems to be flooded with drop shippers.

But I think there's probably enough room for all them.
