I received a message from a bidder that is local and would like to pick-up the item and not pay postage. I tried to add that option to my listing but as there is bids on the auction I was unable too. Is there a way to do this.

You cannot add that option with bids, you'd have to close the listing and relist.

Thank you. That really doesn't seem fare to the other bidders plus I received a sort of nasty message from the person so....
