Its starting-Mail item is seeing more of the world than I have

Mailed an item to Oregon Oct 12 from Indiana. Since then, its hit Guam AND HAWAII and is now late and the buyer, who is also a seller is being impatient and says this was a bad transaction. UGH! You would think a fellow seller would be more patient.

I have put in a "find my package" request with the USPS site and have messaged the buyer hoping he will be patient. It IS still in transit but its sitting in Hawaii having a cocktail and a poo poo platter.

The USPS says it should arrive Oct 27 while ebay says its late.

Can't believe my package has seen more of the world than I have. I'm jelly!!!

I shipped an item USPS Priority Mail from Ohio going to New Jersey the morning of October 12.  Tracking showed item arrived at Detroit sorting facility October 12 late afternoon. 

Item finally arrived to buyer on October 25.

Thirteen days for Priority Mail to get from Ohio to New Jersey. 

I feel badly for everyone dealing with delayed deliveries and irate buyers.

UPDATE:

Item was delivered today. I messaged buyer to let him know and ebay emailed me saying all is good but giving buyer 24 hours in case he didnt get it. He never responded to my messages. I hate people like that. But hopefully by tomorrow night the case will be closed and on to the next adventure!
