INSERTION FEES

ARE INSERTION FEES ON STORE ITEMS CHARGED MONTHLY OR JUST A ONE TIME FEE?

You have only 44 listings so there shouldn't be ANY insertion fees and for that small number of listings there is really no need to pay for a store.

If you did have to pay basic listing fees on Fixed Price listings, they renew every month on the same day of the original listing (ex. Oct 6, Nov 6, Dec 6).

Each time they renew it uses one of your free insertions and if you use all of those then you pay the fee. Having a Store or not makes no difference.

Re: INSERTION FEES

I think if you are charged an insertion fee, it is a one time charge that doesn't repeat if the buy it now listing does not sell. When 30 days comes, the listing will renew with no additional insertion fee

Re: INSERTION FEES

Unless you have a Store you get 250 listings every month FREE.

If you sold 50 of those items, next month the existing unsold listings will relist for Free, and you will have another 50 new FREElistings.

However you pay 35c for each listing over those 250 freebies.

So you are paying $51.80 monthly for your other 148 listings.

If you subscribe to a Basic Store, you pay $25 and as part of that subscription you get 1000 "free" listings.
But basic arithmetic tells us that if we list  1000 items , each one costs 2.5c to list. And if we list 250 items each costs 10 cents to list. And 400 items each cost 6.2c to list.

With your 398 listings a Store subscription would be well worth it.

There are other advantages to Stores, slightly lower Final Value Fees being the main one, but until you regularly are listing over 1000 items a month a Store subscription is not economical.

This isn't accurate.  If an insertion fee is owed because the seller has gone beyond their free listing allotment, the fee is charged when you list the item.  Then every 30 days when it relists, if the seller is again beyond their allotment of free listings, they will be charged the insertion fee again.
