Just because I glance at someone's listing doesn't mean I want to be bombarded with offers. It's not on my watch list. If I wanted it I would buy it or message the seller. Please help! It is the most annoying problem tons of messages every day. It does seem desperate on their part, it's out of hand now. Stop stalking!

To opt out of seller offers on eBay, follow these steps:
1. Go to the "Account" dropdown menu in the top right corner of the eBay homepage.
2. Select "Account settings".
3. Scroll down to the "Communication preferences" section.
4. Under "Seller offers", toggle the switch to "Off".
5. Confirm the change.
This will prevent sellers from sending you offers based on your browsing history. Note that you may still receive offers if you've previously expressed interest in a seller's items or if you've purchased from them before. To stop all offers, including those based on purchase history, toggle the "All purchase-related offers" switch to "Off" in the same "Communication preferences" section.

Sellers making offers to buyers. And Buyers making offers to
sellers, Is all part of the experience of buying and selling in
an open market place.
Some of the things that are disliked can be easily ignored.

maybe easily ignored for you, but not for everyone. i've seen many other posts about this but no answers to how to opt out. we should have an option

If it is that big a problem, I believe there is a preference you can set to not receive any offers.

i've looked everywhere, can't find that exact option for "not receiving offers" but thank you!

Go here: https://commspreferences.ebay.com/commsprefs
Click Edit next to Buying Activity. Uncheck "Offers to Buyers".
Unfortunately, it is all or nothing: you get no offers from any sellers, not even ones you've watched items from, but it will reduce your notifications.

Ignoring offers from sellers isn't good enough. Clicking no to reject the offer isn't good enough. Even restarting your phone won't make them go away. Sending offers and hounding people to buy your goods is a poor marketing strategy. Offers are so annoying. If i wanted to buy your item i would.

THANK YOU!! i came here to ask a question, but seems a couple of answers are slightly judgemental. i feel the same way as you do. it's a poor marketing strategy imo also....so annoying to see my messages loaded with offers every morning on items i only glanced at & some days ago. fine if sellers decide to use this, but give us a way to opt out
