Going into the Heart of the Storm

So, I have an order from a gentleman who lives just north of, you guessed it, Houston.  I haven't signed up for guaranteed delivery but I'm going to watch the tracking number to see if USPS gets the package there on time.  Should be interesting.

For these types of packages that I want to keep an eye on, I always add it to MyUSPS ... then I get a text message every time there's movement or an attempted / successful delivery.

Most of the storm damage and flooding is south and southwest of Houston. However, you can check USPS alerts to see what zip codes are not receiving mail:

I was im pressed. However i ordered something from my daughter and it is "sitting" somewhere in Houston. No idea if or when i will get it. Doesn't really matter. To much goi g on here to worry about it.
