...my dearest eBay, I would rather see your confirmation to buyers as "Your item estimate arrival time is between...(date) to...(date)" instead...!
...for sure, USPS speeding time won't change sooner...

well eBay's estimated is like rolling the dice: They might get it right some times...
They should do away with it in my opinion.

That's not the worst of it. Dishonest buyers buy an item, wait until 1 day after eBay's delivery date and file an INR. eBay makes the refund. When the item finally arrives, eBay does not require the buyer to return either refund or item. Schemes to use eBay policies to get "free stuff" are all over the net. With proof of delivery you can appeal the case to eBay and they may reverse the decision.
Note: if you voluntarily refunded with out eBay forcing the issue you can not appeal it.
