Can I get a direct answer on Item Category's

Is ebay going to restore item specific categories like it was before. This is a huge problem. I do not want to spend days going through all my listing, and checking to see how, and where it's listed, then have to go through thousands of item specifics, page after page it seems. So if I have a longaberger basket, will I be able to list it under the category: Longaberger, yes, or freakin No?

Direct Answer: No

They are changing/eliminating categories and therefore 'moving' items from this Category to that Category. Then item specifics will need to be updated (for those categories effected)

What's the point? My item categories now aren't even close to what I'm offering for sale.  I appreciate the reply. If  they are eliminating category's, then why have it available?
