Auction page bug.

Auction items started to show the red "Ended" after “Time Left:” a couple minutes earlier than the auction ending time. Usually, the last minute is the buyers start to bid. But this "Ended" confused them and they stopped bid! When this happened, "this listing is active" was still showing and the "Place bid" button was still active. This bug is very annoying as auction items were sold at much lower price than it should be.

Check your device's clock to make sure it is synchronized with an online time server. If not, that can affect the countdown you see on eBay.

Is your clock synchronized? This is not necessarily the same as showing the correct time.

Use the link to check -- just above the time display you should see an indication if your clock is ahead or behind.

It is possible for your time zone to be incorrect and to manually set your clock to be close to the correct time, but you will encounter problems with things like auction countdowns shown on search results pages.

If your clock is synchronized, the auction countdown you see on your device should be working properly.
