I thought this was a Nippon piece based on the decoration, however, I have not had any luck finding a similar shape. I did search French and other continental porcelain. The neck is quatrafoil shaped and the base has indentions as seen on melon shaped pieces, although, it is difficult to see them in the photographs. No markings on the base. 7 1/2" tall, 5" at the widest part. The flowers are filled in with white slip glaze or an orange slip glaze. The larger, round gold decorated areas also have raised orange slip glaze. The cobalt blue color is darker than it appears under my bright lights. I'm hoping someone may have some idea about the origin and age. Thank you.
