To be precise shown mark is an Oscar Schaller brand only, used by his successors from 1918 onward. The difference between original Schaller & Co. mark and the successor is the ampersand between the initials S&C; while the original is represented by a stylized ampersand, the later successor version took the shape of an open pair of scissors.
