Scam/Fake Paypal Website

Hello

I just wanted to warn sellers about fake PayPal websites; I had to cancel an order I had received a few hours ago because not only did the buyer want me to add a $300 Amazon gift card to their order, they also never paid me. I attached a picture of the email that was sent to me earlier.

If you see an email like this or if the buyer asks you to add something extra please don't fall for it.

Thank you.

Scam/Fake Paypal Website

Yep, that's an old scam. Never buy a gift card for someone else or give the number to someone in an email or on the phone.

That said, the email looks totally fake. Nothing like the email you get when you buy or sell something. Along with the poor grammar and strange email address.

Glad you caught it in time.

Scam/Fake Paypal Website

All the spelling and grammatical errors.  You'd think these scammers would at least make it believable.  Yet, still so many people fall for the scam.
