My MP account states that my 1099-K is now available in tax reports. Clicking on tax reports only shows the 1099 for 2020. Has anyone received their 1099 for 2021 yet? The 2020 form was used a year ago....
I got the exact same message and there is nothing there for 2021. I messaged eBay (a chore in itself) and the person that responded had no clue (I did not expect that they would). As of today no 1099K, I just checked. I'm sure it will be there by Monday if not on Monday.
I have not received my 2021 1099-K either. I called eBay this morning (Jan. 31) and the agent I talked to indicated it could possibly be 15 more days before I receive the form. He could not give me an explanation as to why the delay was occurring other than stating that he had received a memo indicating that there could be delays for some sellers. My understanding is that the form was suppose to be received by eBay sellers by today (Jan. 31)....I'd sure like to know what is going on.
By law the 1099-K must be provided by January 31. Of course, eBay being held accountable would require deep pockets and a fleet of lawyers, for very little gain.
Just another example of how eBay doesn't give a [CENSORED] about sellers.
