**This is an interesting coin/token because it is a War Issue, a river
town, a 50 Pfennig coin/token, and has a nice Coat of Arms on it.
Plus being a very nice VF grade (no spots onnit). A very nice fun
item for number 545. And another nice step towards the goal
line. This is a great hobby for a lifetime and especially during a
Bat-virus plague. This item is NOT for sale. **

My eyes are really tired this day. Is that perhaps a stork's nest on the
top of the sorda 'center' building? The 4 story building? (They are
called 'good luck charms' over in Europa. I believe. )

my uneducated guess is that it's an eagle's nest...

"In many cultures, storks represent fertility, springtime and good luck. ... Storks are considered harbingers of good fortune. In Germany, they are known as “adebar,” meaning “luck-bringer.” In the Netherlands, a stork nesting on one's roof is viewed as a good omen for the family who lives there."

The mintage of 5,000 for the 50 Pfennig 1917 Crailsheim places it
as Numista Rarity Index 95. A somewhat scarce item for a Zinc wartime
issue!
