In search of a 1857 U.S. large braided cent.

I have one graded VF-30 by PCGS. It cost me a lot more than my raw 1856.

The purpose of  my purchase is to gift a 12 year old genius...really, a genius...for an interest in coin collection.  Last fall, he studied the Greek gods and traveled to Greece to see the ruins, etc.  Really.....this boy is extraordinary.  So, I'd like a really nice coin...nothing outrages, but decent enough to see the hairs in the braid.  Thinking not more than $65.00
