Here is some experience about shipping coins. The VALUE of the coin
could affect the method of shipping.
If the coin is super valuable (hundreds or thousands of Dollars) then
Registered Mail is the best option (opinion).
If the coin is valued between about $50 to $100 or about those nrs
then Priority Mail with insurance is a possible option. Opinion.
(Since Priority Mail was invented el Heron has not lost one packet)
If the coin is valued less than 50 Bucks then First Class mail is
probably a good method of shipping.
In the years between 1948 and 2021 Heron has lost one registered
packet mailed in the USA (reimbursed by USPS) and did NOT receive a registered
packet from a seller in Latvia. (The seller promptly reimbursed
el Heron and the USPS reimbursed the seller in Latvia because
the packet was lost in the USA).
As for First Class Mail shipments, no losses to date (hope this does
not 'jinx' Heron's record on shipments).
These comments are based on personal experience and other
experiences can differ. Comments regarding methods of shipment
and value of item are strictly personal opinions of el Heron.

Not the best for, say, bank rolled coins. 🤑
