Wanted to buy HP printer ink and found a great deal (perhaps too good to be true) of an HP package of 902xl ink.  Photo is of an actual HP 902XL set of ink cartridges package but product is a remanufactured product "compatible" with HP printers.  Realize it is hard to keep track of this sort of thing bu this is deliberately misleading and should be prohibited.  Could not fine where to report this.  One reasonm I am very suspicious of anything being sold on Ebay

In every listing on eBay just above the Item Specifics box on the right you will find “Report this Item” link.

@ewcweieri,

Did you discover the item was not real HP cartridges from info on the listing page, or after you received them?  If you received them all you have to do is go to your purchase history find the listing and click on the more actions box to the right, you want to return the item for not matching the description or photos. The seller will have 3 days to either send you a return shipping label or to start a refund.

If you found that the cartridges were not real HP ones by looking at the Item specifics, and seeing after Brand: unknown or another brand name. Just above the Item specifics box on the right side you will see a Report this item button. When you get to the part where you can write in details just write, the photos and title are for HP 902XL cartridges but in the item specifics it says the brand name is unknown or is a different bran name.

eBay cannot possibly vet each one of the millions of listings, that are posted daily on this site. When you find an item listed for well below trending prices, it should be a red flag.  So you have to read everything on listing pages and check feedback profile pages of sellers and check to see things like what country they are registered in, and click on the numbers of neutral and negative feedback they have received to read only those comments, before buying from one.

The seller more than likely used a stock photo. Always go with listings that use actual photos and you will avoid this problem in the future.
