getting rid of trash

I have pages and pages of trash i can't get deleted

eBay removes the messages after six months. Until then, messages are kept in case eBay needs them for reference.

The messages are stored on eBay computers and are not taking up space on yours. You merely have a view into them.

Put them in the trash and then they will be deleted.

That sounds like a first. My Messages are always maintained for six months to the day in all folders including Trash. I'm using a computer.
