Best Offer / Send Invoice issue

I agreed with a best offer from a buyer. The total was 50.00 with shipping included. I accepted the offer then a SEND INVOICE notice appeared on the listing. I went to send invoice and on the invoice I was ONLY allowed to deduct the cost of shipping but not the tax to make the total 50.00. My listings do not show as taxable that I am aware of? How do I adjust my invoice so that the agreed upon amount is the 50.00 and not 50.00 plus TAX? this may be a problem in the future as well if we can not discount anymore than the shipping amount. The form would not allow me to place a discount of the shipping plus tax on the invoice.

Thanks

Ebay charges the sales tax on all orders if the items are shipped to a state that requires Ebay to collect sales tax on their behalf. There is not a way to remove or adjust the sales tax that the buyer must pay.

Re: Best Offer / Send Invoice issue

Buyers are required to now their own state laws.

The buyer should be expecting to pay the tax.
